CTOnews.com September 21, according to the German technology media Hueblog reported that Philips Hue recently updated the bridge (Hue Bridge) firmware to add support for Matter for its products.

Signify, the parent company of Philips Hue, announced the addition of Matter support in 2022 and subsequently postponed it until March 2023; Hue announced again in August that it would launch in September this year.

It is reported that this firmware update is being pushed around the world and can be updated through the mobile Hue application. Where there used to be voice control settings, there is now a Smart Home option that includes all event-related settings.
