Fuji launches Instax Pal camera: palm size, priced at $200
Thanks to the independent photographer of CTOnews.com and 91 Louis Koo for the clue delivery! CTOnews.com Sept. 21, Fuji announced today that it will launch an Instax Pal digital camera set designed for children at the end of October at a price of $199.95 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 1460 yuan).
The Instax Pal digital camera does not print any photos, nor does it have a built-in viewfinder. Instead, it outputs images through a matching app, which can then be printed on an Instax Mini Link 2 mobile printer, and the kit includes a package of Instax Mini film.
Instax Pal is aimed at children, so everything is designed to be "fun". For example, you can customize shutter sounds, add filters, text, and apply stickers, and even get rewards (though it's not clear how). Of course, its small size and detachable ring handle also make it easier for the small hand to hold.
At the same time, like Instax Mini Evo real-time cameras, children can choose which photos to print. This is a feature that parents particularly like because it can help children avoid wasting expensive film on failed photos.
The Pal can also shoot remotely through the app, supporting shooting at intervals (3, 6, 11 or 21 images in a row at intervals of 3 seconds) and equipped with a small flash to illuminate the subject.
