Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3 Notebook launches: 15-hour battery life, starting at $799

CTOnews.com Sept. 21, Microsoft released the Surface Laptop Go 3 laptop at today's Surface event, which will be released on October 3 (Bank of China will start pre-sale at 0: 00 on October 10, 2023), offering a 15-hour battery life, starting at $799 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 5833 yuan).

The new Surface Laptop Go 3 is a minor update of Surface Laptop Go 2 and still features a 12.4in 3:2 aspect ratio PixelSense touchscreen, 1536mm 1024resolution and weighs 1.13kg. Microsoft says the new laptop comes with a 12th-generation Core i5-1235U processor, 88% faster than the original Surface Laptop Go, an Iris Xe graphics card, a 8GB / 16GB RAM and a 256GB SSD, a 15-hour battery life and a 90% faster charging speed than the original Surface Pro. In addition, the new machine is available in four colors, namely platinum, sage, sandstone and ice blue.

The port also remains unchanged, including 1 USB-A port, 1 USB-C, headphone Jack on the left, and proprietary Surface Connect port on the right. In addition, the power button of the new Laptop Go 3 supports fingerprint recognition. Other features include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1 and removable SSD modules that can be replaced with hard drives up to 512GB. In addition, the laptop comes with a 720p webcam with a "studio microphone" and Omnisonic speakers that support Dolby sound effects.
