August Game console report: sales of nearly 1.4 million PS5 units, 940000 Switch units and 430000 XSX / XSS units
CTOnews.com September 22 news, according to game media VGChartz statistics, Sony PlayStation 5 game console sales in August this year 1395388 units, the global cumulative sales of 42.23 million units.
Nintendo Switch sold 944354 units this month, with 129.42 million units sold; Microsoft Xbox Series S| X game console sales this month 431629 units, cumulative sales of 23.23 million units.
Sony PlayStation 4 sold 19500 units this month for a cumulative total of 117.11 million units.
CTOnews.com Note: PS5 sales increased by nearly 641000 units compared to the same month in 2016 for PS4, while Xbox Series X| S dropped 86000 units compared to Xbox One in the same month. PS4 sold 754762 units in August 2016 and Xbox One sold 518071 units.
