Thank you, Mr. Air, a netizen of CTOnews.com, for your clue delivery! CTOnews.com, September 24 (Xinhua)-- according to people familiar with the matter, Zuckerberg's Meta is planning to launch a "distinctive personality" AI chat robot on its social media App as soon as next week to attract young users, the Wall Street Journal reported today.

The chat robot to be launched by Meta is now in the process of internal testing and is expected to be announced for the first time at the Meta Connect conference starting next Wednesday, the report said. They will encourage users to participate in the use of Meta's various social media App, but some robots are expected to have productivity-related skills, such as writing programs or performing other tasks.

Meta plans to develop "dozens" of personalized AI chat robots, including a product that celebrities and creators can use to interact with their fans.

One of the robots is called Robot Bob, but it calls itself "Sassmaster General", the Wall Street Journal said, citing internal documents. It has a shape similar to Bender, the character in the animated film Futurama, and internal documents describe the move as "it caters to the funny and humorous types that young people like."
