On the power side, the M9 provides two sets of power systems. Among them, the pure electric version model adopts the dual motor layout, the maximum power of the front motor is 160 kilowatts, and the maximum power of the rear motor is 230 kilowatts; the incremental hybrid model is equipped with a 1.5T engine with a maximum power of 112 kilowatts, and the motor parameters are the same as those of the pure electric version. Both power systems are equipped with ternary lithium battery packs, but the exact capacity and mileage are not clear.

In terms of intelligent functions, the M9 will be equipped with Hongmeng 4.0 cockpit system, Huawei ADS advanced autopilot assistance system, in-car co-pilot will have a separate screen, and laser projection equipment will be provided in the back row.

Yu Chengdong previously revealed that the M9 will be listed in the fourth quarter of 2023. He said the M9 will "start from scratch and build from scratch". Unlike models such as the M5 and M7, the M9 will be "not only a mobile smart home", but also a "mobile smart office and mobile smart bedroom".
