According to leaked conversations between Qualcomm and its South Korean partners, although Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processors are made by TSMC, they will be available in both 4nm and 3nm versions.
It is estimated that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor for laptops and tablets will be designed with a 2x4x2 design, including two Cortex X4 cores, four Cortex A720 cores, and two Cortex A520 cores.
CTOnews.com note: although the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor uses the same CPU combination, it will be distinguished by 4nm and 3nm processes. It is not clear whether Qualcomm has announced flagship chips for both processes.
