CTOnews.com Sept. 27, Guo Mingyi released a market research report today, saying that Apple may have cancelled its plan for a pro-people version of Vision Pro Touxian (it was previously reported that Apple plans to launch in 2025).

CTOnews.com learned from the report that according to the maximum capacity estimates of parts suppliers, Apple's Vision Pro will ship 40-600000 units in 2024, significantly lower than the market expectation of more than 1 million units.

Unless Apple significantly reduces the price of the Vision Pro, the big growth expected by the market from 2025 may not happen.

Apple will mass-produce the second-generation Vision Pro headset in the first half of 2027 at the latest, which means that there will be no hardware upgrades to the Vision Pro headset in the next few years.

From a technical point of view, Guo Mingyi believes that Vision Pro can definitely bring users the ultimate experience, but the question is why users need this product.

Vision Pro may take longer than the market expects to become iPhone's next star product.
