Lenovo creates the first kissing trophy for F1
CTOnews.com, September 27 (Xinhua)-- Lenovo helped design the championship trophy at the recently concluded F1 Japan Grand Prix, creating the world's first kissing trophy.
Lenovo has designed a touch-sensitive panel, a light array and a wireless charging base for the trophy, which lights up the national flag when the winning driver kisses the trophy.
Max Verstappen, the winner of the Red Bull team, won the trophy at the Japanese Grand Prix and lit the Dutch flag after he kissed the trophy.
CTOnews.com Note: Lenovo is the title sponsor of this year's F1 Japanese Grand Prix. Lenovo will also become the sponsor of the US Grand Prix on October 22, and the trophy is expected to appear at the award ceremony.
