CTOnews.com, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) Google's parent company, Alphabet, is busy convincing the government that Google will not stifle search innovation, but Microsoft has made an interesting point that Bing does not generate as much revenue as Apple does.

Mikhail Mikhail Parakhin, Microsoft's head of advertising and web services, testified this week that Bing's own revenue was not as good as what Apple earned from it.

Palahin, an CTOnews.com translator, testified as follows: "Apple earns more money on Bing than Bing's existing revenue. We have been trying to persuade Apple to use our search engine."

Palahin said that the last time Microsoft communicated with Apple was in 2021. Microsoft wanted to discuss the future with Apple, but apparently did not achieve any results.

Microsoft's view is that when Apple renews its Google search contract, it will use Bing as a bargaining chip to increase the amount of the contract. Microsoft says Apple has an obligation to defend its Google search contract under Apple's contract with Google.

Apple once used Bing for Siri image search by default, but Bing has never been the default search engine for Safari. However, users can change the default search engine.
