CTOnews.com Sept. 28, after nearly two years of testing, Adobe's Photoshop web service (online web version) is now fully available.

According to the information shared by Adobe with foreign media The Verge, the web version of Photoshop will soon support AI to generate fill and generate extended image tools, which have recently been released for desktop Photoshop.

These features are supported by the Adobe Firefly generative AI model, can be used for commercial purposes and allow users to quickly add, delete, or expand images using text-based descriptions in more than 100 languages, while matching the lighting conditions and viewing angles of the original images.

The Photoshop web version also provides many of the most commonly used tools for the desktop version, but the layout has been redesigned to provide a more "simplified" user experience for new Photoshop users. These include the contextual taskbar feature that was added to the desktop Photoshop application earlier this year, which advises users to take the most relevant steps in their workflow.

In addition, tools with similar workflows, such as tools for selecting objects and decorating images, are grouped together, simplifying the interface. For veterans who prefer the desktop version of Photoshop complex UI, you can disable this simplified design. Adobe said desktop features such as patch tools, pen tools, smart object support and polygonal lasso will also be added to the web version "soon".

The Photoshop web version also allows users to invite others to collaborate on projects, and other Photoshop users can view and comment on images.

The web version of the Photoshop service, which is included in the Photoshop payment plan, starts at $9.99 a month (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 73 yuan) and will not offer a free experience.
