CTOnews.com, Sept. 29 (Xinhua) Sega recently reviewed its portfolio and refocused its European game development business, cutting games including Hyenas and other unannounced games.

Hyena is a multiplayer evacuation shooter based on heroes developed by Creative Assembly and released by Sega. Players will play anti-heroes who are out of place with society, compete with other teams and security forces, and steal valuable goods through epic zero-gravity battles.

Coyote announced in June 2022 that it was developed by Sega's studio Creative Assembly, which was known in the industry for developing Alien: isolation games.

CTOnews.com note: in addition to cutting games such as hyenas, Sega also announced a new round of layoffs at Creative Assembly Studios, and the social media operation in charge of hyenas is the first batch of layoffs.

After cutting games such as Coyote, Creative Assembly will continue to launch Total War: pharaoh and continue to support Total War: Warhammer 3.
