On the afternoon of September 29, Microsoft CEO Satyanadella will testify as a witness of the U.S. Department of Justice next Monday, an once-in-a-century court battle between Microsoft and Google.

It is reported that the government may ask Nadella about Microsoft's efforts to expand the influence of Edge browser and Bing search engine, as well as the obstacles posed by Google's dominance.

The US government believes Google maintains its monopoly by illegally paying $10 billion (currently about 73 billion yuan) a year to smartphone makers such as Apple and wireless operators such as AT&T to become the default search engine on its devices.

Currently, Google's share of the search market is about 90%.
