CTOnews.com September 30 news, foreign technology media Tom's Hardware after evaluating raspberry pie 5, decided to observe the overclocking ability of the new SBC.

CTOnews.com note: raspberry pie 5 is equipped with Arm Cortex-A76 64-bit CPU with 2.4GHz clock rate and the new 800MHz VideoCore VII GPU, which can reach 3.0 GHz and 1.1 GHz in overclocking testing, and the performance is improved by 25%.

Using an official radiator, the media overclocked all four CPU of raspberry pie 5 to 3.0GHz and found no instability after a five-minute Stressberry test.

During the stress test, the raspberry pie used a 10W focus CPU with temperatures between 69 and 74 degrees Celsius, while the idle state consumed 3W and the temperature was about 46 degrees Celsius.

In the Sysbench comprehensive running score test, after CPU overclocking to 3.0GHz,GPU to 1.1GHz, the scores of single thread and multi-thread were 3423 and 13681, respectively.
