CTOnews.com, Oct. 2 (Xinhua)-- Fisker, a new American car maker, plans to increase the delivery of Ocean from 180 to 300 a day. The car company is also expanding its retail team and increasing its distribution centers in the United States.

CTOnews.com learned from officials that Fisker adopted a rather conservative strategy in 2023, with an initial forecast of annual Ocean production of about 32000-36000 vehicles, which was later reduced to 20, 000-23000, which would require monthly production of 9000 vehicles at a rate of 300 per day.

Fisker did not disclose a detailed delivery schedule, and as of September 26, the company had reached the production milestone of 5000 vehicles. Fisker also said it had delivered 900 cars in the US and Europe so far, with hundreds more waiting to be delivered.

It is worth mentioning that Fisker plans to raise $150 million from existing institutional investors by issuing convertible bonds to help speed up the delivery of new cars.
