Insiders say that since the film has not yet set a date, there is no rush to identify the screenwriter, and a decision is likely to be made in early 2024.
It is worth mentioning that "X-Men" has been on hold for more than four years since Disney bought the 20th Century Fox film. Previously, the word "Mutation variant" was only mentioned in the "Marvel Girl" episode through colored eggs, and next year will be the first to release "X-Men 97" in Disney +, a sequel to the 1997 TV animation.
