Android 14 stable release confirmed by operators and released on October 4th

CTOnews.com, October 3 (Xinhua)-- Google will officially launch Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro phones on October 4, and is expected to launch a stable version of Android 14 together.

Canadian operator Telus has now listed when the devices it sells will begin to introduce software updates. Starting with Pixel 4a, the "Android U" of all Pixel devices is listed as an October 4 push.

CTOnews.com Note: Android U is an acronym for Android Upside Down Cake and is the internal code for Android 14.

At present, this updated list has been deleted, but foreign media droid-life still found the change, which should have been leaked in advance.

In addition, Google has begun to push the first Beta beta version of Android 14 QPR1 for Pixel 4a 5G and newer phones, bringing a number of feature upgrades that also herald the arrival of a stable version of Android 14.
