Kia sold about 261000 vehicles worldwide in September, up 4.8% from a year earlier.

Compared with the same period last year, Kia's South Korean and overseas sales increased by 11.0% and 3.6% respectively, and total sales increased by 4.8%.

Kia related sources said: "We will launch best-selling models such as the K5 and Jiahua, and through active electric car marketing to maintain sales momentum."
