Planned for launch in March next year, Microsoft introduces a new "follow" meeting reply option for Outlook

CTOnews.com, October 5, according to the latest roadmap released by Microsoft Microsoft 365, Microsoft plans to introduce a RSVP option called "Follow" for Outlook in March next year, further expanding the additional options for existing meeting invitations.

Current Outlook users can choose to Accept, Tentative and Decline when responding to a meeting invitation, while Microsoft plans to further expand the Follow option.

CTOnews.com note: the follow option is designed for individuals who are too busy to attend meetings in person or virtual, but still want to stay involved and receive information about the meeting.

The details that this option will provide are not entirely clear, but are expected to include details such as the list of participants, venue and duration of the meeting. Users may also receive a summary of the meeting, including operation points and information about any subsequent meetings.
