Valve released Proton 8.0-4 to enable Linux players to play more Windows games.
CTOnews.com October 6 news, Valve today released the Proton 8.0-4 update, two and a half months after the last version update, bringing more Windows games to Linux players.
This new version mainly brings games such as "Legend of Arthur King", "chaos Code-NEW SIGN OF CATASTROPHE-", "endless Mission II", "Strange World: the Wrath of Stranger", "Song of Heroes: the decisive version", "Star Wars: the Samurai II of the Old Republic" and "the longest Journey".
The Proton 8.0-4 update also optimizes "Happy death", "biochemical Evil 4 (2005)", "Wonderland Warfare", "scrap Mechanic", "Watchman 2", "Baird Gate 3", "Street Fighter 6" and so on.
Proton 8.0-4 can run more games that previously could only be run with Proton Experimental: endless quests 2, Star Wars: old Republic Samurai 2, the longest Journey, and so on.
Proton 8.0-4 also fixed problems such as constant self-update of Battle.net, blank login screen of EA Desktop software after recent updates, sometimes error dialogs in the Baird Gate 3 launcher, some Unreal Engine 4 games, and NVIDIA NVAPI has now been updated.
