IFixit disassembles Apple iPhone 15 to show the details under the microscope

CTOnews.com, Oct. 7 (Xinhua)-- repair website iFixit disassembled Apple's new iPhone 15 Pro Max last week, and now it has taken a deeper look at the standard version of iPhone 15, including using a microscope to look at many components so that we can see details of the device that we don't normally see.

With a microscope, iFixit can take a closer look at iPhone's shell, adhesive, and display, and even see individual pixels. Everything from the battery connector to the magnet inside the Taptic Engine has a magnified view.

IPhone 15 is very similar to iPhone 14 because the design has not changed. However, CTOnews.com noticed that the new phone has a larger 4800-megapixel camera, and iFixit confirmed that the camera is actually different from the 4800-megapixel camera in the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The iPhone 15 camera is about 22% smaller, which means the camera does not perform as well as the iPhone 15-Pro Max camera in low light conditions.
