CTOnews.com, Oct. 7, according to thecamerainsider, Canon may release a follow-up product to the EOS R5 in February 2024.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, it was reported in July that Canon had handed over a small number of EOS R5 Mark II to some photographers and content creators for testing.

In terms of parameters, the EOS R5 Mark II will carry a 6200-megapixel full-frame stack CMOS image sensor and DIGIC X2s image processor, support 8K60p and 4K120p recording, and support CFexpress Type B recording.

Canon's current EOS R5, released in 2020 and priced at 25999 yuan, is equipped with a new CMOS image sensor with about 45 million effective pixels and a DIGIC X digital image processor.
