Apple Vision Pro head display Patent: increase weight and reduce neck pressure
CTOnews.com October 11 news, Gorman said in the recently released Power On newsletter that the Vision Pro head is overweight, resulting in obvious neck fatigue after wearing it.
According to a list published by the US Trademark and Patent Office (USPTO), Apple has obtained a patent for Vision Pro technology to relieve neck fatigue, and the key is not to lose weight, but to gain weight counterintuitively.
In the patent, Apple believes that the key to relieving neck fatigue is not to reduce the weight of the Vision Pro, but to adjust the center of gravity of the device.
CTOnews.com learned from Apple patents that the components of most head-display devices are currently concentrated in the front, exerting downward pressure, so adding a counterweight on the back of the head display to shift the center of gravity of the entire head display back can relieve neck fatigue.
