CTOnews.com, Oct. 12 (Xinhua) according to a deal reached between Apple and Paramount Pictures in 2020, the film production cost of "Flower Moon Killer" is estimated at $180 million to $200 million (currently about 1.312 to 1.458 billion yuan). According to a recent report released by Bloomberg, the cost has risen to $2 billion to $250 million (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 14.58 to 1.823 billion yuan).

Bloomberg said in a report that "the Killer of the Moon" is the most expensive film released by Apple in the four years since it founded its studio. The film costs as much as $200 million to $250 million, of which Leonardo William DiCaprio is paid about $25 million (currently about 182 million yuan), with millions more spent on marketing.

The film will be released in theaters next week and then on Apple TV+, which is also a big bet for Apple.

According to IT House, "the Killer of the Moon" will be officially released in North America on October 20, followed by the launch of Apple's Apple TV+ streaming platform. The story of the film is based on David Glenn's original novel the Killer of the Moon and tells the story of the famous murder of Indians.
