Microsoft adjusts the automatic picture-in-picture feature of Edge browser: switch tabs to switch applications
CTOnews.com October 12 news, Microsoft released in March this year Canary channel Edge browser, introduced a new automatic open picture-in-picture feature, users when playing videos such as YouTube, after switching to other tabs, automatically start picture-in-picture mode.
According to the latest tweets shared by hobbyist @ Leopeva64, Microsoft is tweaking the feature so that picture-in-picture mode is automatically activated only when users switch apps. When users switch between tabs or windows, the picture-in-picture mode is no longer automatically turned on.
CTOnews.com attached the demo video as follows, after switching the Edge browser to Outlook, the picture-in-picture mode will be automatically turned on, but the switching tab will not be enabled.
Microsoft also introduced "Seek backward" (back 10 seconds) and "Seek forward" (forward 10) buttons in picture-in-picture mode.
