According to reports, Beijing citizens can receive express delivery within half a day through Tmall supermarket shopping, realizing "buying in the morning, buying in the afternoon" and "buying in the evening, (the next day) in the morning." Within half a year, the "half-day" service of Tmall supermarket has been opened in 20 cities, and many cities can also enjoy half-day service during Singles' Day.

CTOnews.com previously reported that Tmall supermarket United Cainiao Group announced in early September that "half-day" business would be launched in Nanjing, Wuhan, Changsha, Tianjin, Nanchang and Jinhua. Prior to this, the service has been opened in Hangzhou, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Huizhou and Foshan.

The 1212 half-day arrival model created by Tmall supermarket and Cainiao takes 12:00 at noon and 12:00 at midnight as the deadline for payment to place orders, which will be delivered before 9 p.m. on the same day and 12:00 the next day, respectively. In the "half-day arrival" city, after consumers opened Mobile Taobao and entered the Tmall supermarket, there was an eye-catching green half-day arrival sign on the product details page, showing the promised delivery time and providing a service guarantee of compensation for late arrival.
