According to reports, the P870 processor is suitable for high-performance consumer applications or in combination with vector processors in data centers. The P870 is a six-wide out-of-order core with a peak single-threaded performance improvement of 50% (specINT2k6) compared with the previous generation of SiFive Performance series processors, meets RVA23 requirements, and provides shared cluster cache to support up to 32-core clusters.
