According to CTOnews.com on October 12, Baidu World Congress 2023 will be held at Shougang Park in Beijing on October 17, the first time it has resumed offline in nearly four years. At that time, Baidu will release a number of native AI applications to introduce the latest development of the big model.

In the "Baidu World 2023" warm-up exchange activity, Baidu Vice President Shang Guobin revealed to the newspaper that Baidu is about to launch a new native AI map, that is, Baidu Map V19, which will fully apply Wenxin model to reconstruct the map's product interaction.

He said that the new AI map is reconstructed based on the Wen Xin big model, bringing a new "AI wizard" function, with multiple rounds of natural language interaction ability, and users can awaken various functions and services buried in the map through natural language dialogue.

CTOnews.com query found that Baidu Maps in Google Play has just been updated to version 18.0.0, while Apple's latest version in App Store is 18.10.0. It is not clear how long it will be before the V19 version mentioned by Shang Guobin will be officially launched.
