CTOnews.com notes that vehicles within the scope of this recall are subject to safety hazards due to damage to the transmission electric oil pump controller circuit board of the idle start-stop system (ISG) during manufacturing, possible thermal damage inside the controller, increased risk of fire in the vehicle.

Jiangsu Yueda Kia Automobile Co., Ltd. will replace the electric oil pump controller for vehicles within the recall range free of charge to eliminate potential safety hazards.

Jiangsu Yueda Kia Automobile Co., Ltd. will notify relevant owners by registered letter, SMS, telephone, etc. through dealers.
