General Manager of SAIC-Volkswagen: the ID.3 model Q1 will be replaced by lithium iron phosphate battery next year, and Q2 will turn a loss into a profit.

Jia Jianxu said that Volkswagen ID.3 models will switch to lithium iron phosphate batteries in the first quarter of next year, which can reduce costs by 19000 yuan and turn losses into profits in the second quarter. As for the current loss of ID.3, Jia Jianxu said that the car lost 27000 yuan per car before the price reduction and more than 40, 000 yuan after the price reduction.
