According to reports, the committee was initiated by the National Internet Emergency response Center, Beijing Zhiyuan Research Institute, Shanghai artificial Intelligence Laboratory, Aliyun, Huawei, Jinshan Office and other units, with a total of 58 members, including universities, research institutes and enterprises in related fields.

The committee will organize industry-university-research units in the field of artificial intelligence to carry out technological innovation, industrial cooperation, achievement transformation and industry self-discipline, and continuously improve the security governance capabilities of artificial intelligence in the areas of model security, content security, data security, privacy protection and intellectual property protection.

At the inaugural meeting, the first group of member units also suggested that they should tackle key problems, open exchanges and in-depth cooperation in artificial intelligence security governance work such as high-quality Chinese corpus development, model security evaluation, and security applications of large models in vertical fields.

In addition, according to CTOnews.com 's previous report, the National Information Security Standardization Technical Committee announced that the "basic security requirements for generative artificial intelligence services" were open to the public for comment. The document sets out the basic requirements for generative artificial intelligence services in terms of corpus security, model security, security measures, security assessment, and so on.
