CTOnews.com, October 15, Beijing time, 08:54 on October 15, 2023, China successfully launched Yunhai-04 satellite from Jiuquan Satellite launch Center using a long March 2D carrier rocket. The satellite entered the scheduled orbit smoothly, and the launch mission was a complete success.

According to CTOnews.com, Yunhai-04 was developed by the eighth Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology Group, and is mainly used in the fields of atmospheric and marine environmental elements detection, space environment exploration, disaster prevention and mitigation, and scientific experiments.

Chang Erding rocket is a normal temperature liquid two-stage carrier rocket developed by the eighth Academy of Sciences. The launch is the 491st launch of the long March series of carrier rockets and the 10th launch of the long March 2d carrier rocket in 2023.
