Several Blizzard employees were interviewed by Bloomberg: very excited because the management has changed.

CTOnews.com, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier said in a post on X platform (formerly Twitter) on Friday that he was talking to several employees of Activision Blizzard this week and they were "all very excited" about the deal.

However, some netizens showed a negative attitude and questioned: "where is the exciting point?" it's the same old thing, reducing costs and increasing profits, but in the end, consumers and developers suffer. I'm tired of this short-sighted company, please forgive my faux pas! "

Jason further replied to the above netizen: "they are very excited by the changes in C-suite." (CTOnews.com Note: C-suite refers to the general name of the top leadership of a company, covering all kinds of chief XX officers / XX officers in the Chinese context.)

After Microsoft announced the acquisition of Activision Blizzard, Activision CEO Bobby Codick wrote to employees that Phil Spencer asked him to continue as Activision Blizzard CEO and reported to him that Codick finally agreed to complete the task by the end of 2023. This means that Codick will officially resign at the end of this year.

Codick became CEO of Activision Blizzard in February 1991. Between 1997 and 2003, Activision Blizzard acquired nine development studios and released its first hit game in 1995. In July 2008, he became CEO of Activision Blizzard as a result of the merger of Activision Blizzard and Vivendi Games.
