CTOnews.com October 16 news, Wuling Automobile held Wuling Technology Evolution Day, launched Wuling rhinoceros hybrid system, equipped with 1.5L hybrid engine platform, the highest thermal efficiency of 43.2%, using fish belly-shaped inlet + MASKING design to increase combustion rate, combined with high-energy ignition coil to improve ignition energy.

CTOnews.com noted that the hybrid system uses new materials and technologies to reduce engine friction energy loss, combined with advanced electrification integration scheme (electronic compressor + electronic water pump + electronic vacuum pump) to further reduce engine energy loss.

The thermal management system of Wulingling hybrid system uses electronic water pump to sense temperature in real time, and cross-flow cooling water jacket to reduce the power consumption of water pump; it is equipped with the world's first electromagnetic DHT and six parallel axes, with the highest transmission efficiency of 98%. Compared with the traditional hydraulic clutch, the weight can be reduced by 5%, and the speed difference can be controlled in 50rpm with software.
