BYD Seal launches on the Australian market, Bitzra Model 3 is about A $12000 cheaper

CTOnews.com October 18 news, BYD's pure electric sedan "Seal" has now entered the Australian market, starting at A $49888 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 231000 yuan).

For comparison, Tesla Model 3 rear wheel drive version currently costs A $61900 (currently about RMB 287000) in Australia and can only offer 513km battery life and 60kWh batteries.

In other words, BYD Seal is 12012 Australian dollars cheaper than Tesla Model 3 (currently about 55616 yuan) and is expected to overtake Tesla in sales.

The cheapest Dynamic rear-drive version of BYD Seal has a 150kW motor and 61.44kWh blade battery, and the WLTP is expected to have a range of 460km.

As the world's first mass-produced model with CTB technology, the seal is based on e-platform 3.0, equipped with iTAC intelligent torque control system and a maximum 82.56 kWh battery.

According to reports, this model is also the world's first equipped with iTAC technology, rear-drive / four-wheel drive architecture, front double fork arm + rear five-link chassis suspension model.

In addition, BYD Seal's front and rear dual motors can output 523 horsepower, zero acceleration of 3.8 seconds, WLTP mileage of up to 520KM.
