CTOnews.com, Oct. 19 (Xinhua)-- Sensor Tower today released a list of the most popular mobile games in the world for September 2023, with Roblox, which is popular with friends, ranked third and Metro Parkour ranked fourth on the list of downloads.

CTOnews.com learned from the Sensor Tower report that the number of downloads of global mobile games on App Store and Google Play in September 2023 was 4.06 billion, down nearly 3 per cent from a year earlier. India ranked No. 1 with 779 million downloads, accounting for 19.2% of the world's total downloads. The Brazilian market ranks second with 9% of downloads, followed by the United States, accounting for 7.5%.

According to ▲ source Sensor TowerSensor Tower, Garena's "Free Fire" (including "Free Fire MAX") topped the global mobile game download list in September with more than 1700 million downloads.

India is the game's largest market, accounting for 28% of downloads, followed by Vietnam and Brazil, accounting for 10.1% and 8.9%, respectively.

In early September, the game launched a new season.

On September 16, the game released new props and vehicles through the Monster Jacket Extravaganza event.

On September 25, the game partnered with "Ghost Extinction Blade" to launch a theme item, which kept the popularity high.

Supersonic Studios "Build A Queen" ranks No. 2 on the list with more than 1670 million downloads.

Brazil is the game's largest market, contributing 14.7 per cent of downloads, while Vietnam ranks second with 7.7 per cent and India, third, accounts for 7.5 per cent.

In terms of download growth, both Niantic "Monster Hunter Now" and SQUARE ENIX "Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis" successfully entered the list of revenue growth and download growth in the first month of their release, which Sensor Tower described as "thanks to excellent graphic design and immersive combat experience."

"Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis" reached the top of the download list of iPhone mobile games in Japan on the day it was launched, and occupied the top spot for seven consecutive days. Monster Hunter Now not only topped the download list of iPhone mobile games in Japan on the day of its launch, but also remained in the top 2 for the rest of September.
