CTOnews.com October 19, AMD launched the Radeon RX 7900M Mobile GPU based on the RDNA 3 architecture. This is AMD's strongest mobile graphics card so far, and it is also "the first small-chip laptop graphics card".

The RX 7900M is equipped with 72 computing units (32 for the RX 7700S), the highest frequency 2.09GHz, 16GB 256bit GDDR6 display memory, 180W power consumption, so-called second-generation ray tracing and FSR 3.

This graphics card is positioned as a high FPS 1440p (QHD) game rather than 4K. AMD says it can average 7% higher frame rate than RTX 4080 and has more 4GB in video memory.

AMD also announced a partnership with Alienware, while the new alien M18 game will be the first to feature RX 7900M and Ryzen 9 7945HX.

In addition to the chip, the game book comes with an 18-inch QHD+ (2560 x 1600) display, 64GB memory, maximum 8.5TB storage space, and an AMD Adrenaline Edition software suite.

According to reports, the RX 7900M model is expected to go on sale in the fourth quarter of 2023, starting at $2800 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 20496 yuan).
