Virgin Galactic is expected to launch its fifth commercial space flight on November 2.

CTOnews.com, October 19 (Xinhua)-- Virgin Galactic has announced that the flight window for its fifth commercial space mission, Galactic 06, will come on November 2, 2023.

Virgin Galactic will use its reusable VSS Unity to send tourists about 54 miles above Earth to experience weightlessness and witness the vastness of space.

The tourists include an unnamed Franco-Italian private astronaut, as well as Alan Stern, a Pluto mission researcher and planetary scientist on NASA New Horizon, and Kelly Gerry, a science communicator and bio-aerospace researcher at the International Institute of Aerospace Sciences (IIAS).

According to Virgin Galactic's statement, the two will conduct human-related research during the space flight, while Stern will also conduct "astronomical experiments" for the upcoming NASA mission.
