According to sources, YouTube has approached record companies to get the rights to songs used to train the tool in order to achieve this feature. Although discussions between the two sides continue, major record labels have reportedly not signed any deals. For the music industry, AI has both broad prospects and significant threats.

YouTube launched new AI-based tools last month, one of which includes AI-generated videos dubbed into another language (other than the native language). Reported that the company had hoped to launch this use of AI to "change the voice" music tool, but because it has not yet obtained copyright and terminated.
