It is decided that from now on, 138 imported V60 vehicles produced in 2023 from December 2, 2020 to July 6, 2023 will be recalled.

The O-ring of the turbocharger oil pipeline of the vehicle within the scope of this recall was distorted during processing and testing, resulting in possible fracture of the O-ring after loading, resulting in oil leakage. The leaking oil will come into contact with the surface of the turbocharger, which may cause the leaking oil to catch fire and there is a safety hazard.

CTOnews.com learned from the announcement that Volvo Automobile sales (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. will replace the turbocharger oil pipe O-rings for vehicles within the recall area free of charge through Volvo authorized dealers to eliminate safety risks.

Volvo Automobile sales (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. will notify the relevant users in the form of registered letter. Volvo authorized dealers will also take the initiative to contact the relevant car owners to arrange the recall.
