CTOnews.com, October 20, Volvo announced that it will build a new software testing center in Gothenburg, Sweden. The new software testing center is expected to cost about 300 million Swedish kronor (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 200 million yuan). When completed, the overall scale will become the largest software testing center for Volvo.

Volvo's new software test center covers an area of about 22000 square meters and can accommodate about 500 test equipment and a digital test environment. Compared with the software test centers set up in Lund, Sweden and Shanghai, China, the new software test center in Gothenburg, Sweden is larger and is a new example of Volvo's global network of engineering and technology centers.

At present, Volvo has set up technology centers in Singapore, Krakow, Sweden, Stockholm, Lund and Bangalore, India, as well as large engineering centers in Shanghai, China and Gothenburg, Sweden.
