Google improves RAW photo function of Pixel 8 / Pro mobile phone: classification is more intuitive and automatic synchronization to cloud
CTOnews.com October 20 news, according to foreign media 9toGoogle news, Google is improving the Pixel 8 / Pro mobile phone RAW photo function, mainly to optimize the display of related photos in the album, and support RAW photo synchronization to the cloud.
▲ Source foreign media 9toGoogle foreign media said that after using Pixel 8 / Pro mobile phone to take RAW photos, the album will be marked with "RAW" in the upper right corner of the relevant photo thumbnail, so that users can easily identify the photo type.
After the user clicks to open these RAW images, in addition to freely adjusting the photo parameters, they can also output the photos to JPEG format for easy sharing.
In addition, RAW photos taken by users will be automatically uploaded to the "Google Photos" cloud, but CTOnews.com found that due to the large size of RAW photos, uploading RAW photos directly may affect users 'data traffic usage, but Google does not currently provide the option of "uploading JPEG only to the cloud," so it needs to wait for Google to make further adjustments.
