Survey: what do you usually listen to in the car?
CTOnews.com, Oct. 21, according to a recent report released by Edison Research, surveyed the entertainment activities of people over 13 years old in the United States in their cars, and found that they mainly listened to AM / FM radio programs.
In cars without Apple CarPlay or Google Android Auto, the main activities of respondents attached to CTOnews.com are as follows:
67% of the time is spent listening to AM / FM radio
9% of the time is spent listening to streaming services such as Apple Music
12% of the time is spent listening to SiriusXM (Radio broadcast Service)
4% of the time is spent listening to podcasts
8% of the time is spent on "other" aspects
Using Apple CarPlay or Google Android Auto in the car, respondents' main activities include:
46% of the time is spent listening to AM / FM radio
18% of the time is spent listening to streaming services such as Apple Music
19% of the time is spent listening to SiriusXM (Radio broadcast Service)
7% of the time is spent listening to podcasts
10% of the time is spent on "other" aspects.
The data show that people with CarPlay or Android Auto spend about twice as much time listening to streaming music in their car as people without CarPlay or Android Auto.
