CTOnews.com, Oct. 21, according to game media VGC, Nintendo has so far sent the Switch 2 development kit to its major partners, which is scheduled to be launched in the second half of 2024.

CTOnews.com reported in August that Nintendo showed the next generation of Switch game consoles to some people in the industry at the Cologne Game Show in August and discussed with relevant people to determine some of the details of the follow-up model.

Doug Bowser, Nintendo's US president, declined to comment on the revelations in an interview with Inverse on Friday, stressing that it would help existing players migrate to the next generation of Switch consoles through Nintendo's online account system.

Bauzer said in an interview:

Well, first of all, I can't and won't comment on these revelations, and what's for sure is that we will help users quickly migrate to the next generation of game consoles through the Nintendo account system.

In the past, every device we transitioned to had a brand new account system. Creating a Nintendo account can help players migrate to a new platform and simplify the process.

Our goal is to reduce the transition between the two generations of products, and I can't talk about the possible functions of the new platform, but the Nintendo account is a solid basis for this kind of communication during our transition.
