CTOnews.com, Oct. 21 (Xinhua) in addition to the electric version of Lande Cool Luze, Toyota also showed an all-electric pickup called EPU, which officially shows a five-seater model that will mark Ford's Maverick after its launch.

The EPU pure electric pickup is still at the conceptual stage, but Toyota has hinted that it will adopt the next generation of pure electric platform. The EPU is 199.6 inches long, 75.2in wide, 67.3in high, and has a wheelbase of 120in. Its overall size is close to that of the best-selling Ford Maverick and modern Santa Cruz.

From the exposure of the rendering picture, the front part of the proportion is more, affecting the loading space behind the pickup, the whole is more inclined to life, rather than a mature commercial pickup.

For the interior, the front row is minimalist, with two screens and the same yoke steering wheel as the Lexus RZ.

Toyota says the rear seat can be used as a bed and can be used flexibly according to preferences and outdoor activities. As a hard-shell pickup, Toyota claims to have lowered its center of gravity, bringing "excellent handling stability and ride comfort".
