Great Wall Motor: the first to submit a response to the EU countervailing investigation

CTOnews.com October 23 news, Great Wall Motor President Mu Feng announced through Weibo this morning that Great Wall Motor took the lead in responding to the EU countervailing investigation and was the first to submit response materials on the 11th of this month.

At the same time, Mu Feng stressed, "We are firmly committed to the development of globalization, secularism and ecology to go to sea. China's car going to sea will be bumpy, but we will unswervingly accelerate the pace of going out to sea!"

Li Ke, executive vice president of BYD, said in an interview with overseas media earlier this month that BYD would continue to promote strong growth in Europe despite the EU's countervailing investigation into Chinese electric vehicles.

In addition, Volkswagen and Porsche CEO also expressed their views on the EU countervailing investigation earlier this month, hoping that local politicians will "be careful" in their countervailing investigations into electric vehicles in China. "We should pay more attention to how to create a more competitive industrial framework here. If we are strong, we don't have to worry about competition from outside Europe."

CTOnews.com previously reported that European Commission President von Delaine announced in the European Parliament's annual State of the Union address in Strasbourg last month that the European Commission had launched an investigation into Chinese government subsidies to electric car manufacturers to assess whether the EU needs to impose tariffs to protect itself from Chinese electric car manufacturers that benefit from state subsidies.
