CTOnews.com, October 23 (Xinhua) Toyota recently unveiled a concept electric wheelchair called JUU, which will be unveiled at the 2023 Tokyo Motor Show.

It is reported that the JUU electric wheelchair, which claims to be a collection of "maneuverability" and "design", is based on the concept of being able to "move freely anywhere", so that people with disabilities can move freely in places where conventional wheelchairs are difficult to move, thus further expanding the mobile range of users.

▲ Tu Yuan Toyota officially introduced the functionality of the wheelchair, claiming that when people with disabilities go up and down the stairs, the wheelchair will use the left and right two large drive wheels (main wheels) to overcome the horizontal difference, and the auxiliary wheel behind the wheelchair can be tilted to support steady movement.

In the part of the drive system, the JUU wheelchair is an electric motor used by a pure tram, which claims to use vehicle parts, thus "pursuing high quality and high reliability" setting.

CTOnews.com also found that JUU has automatic control, allowing up and down stairs of no more than 16 centimeters, and JUU will safely move to the back door and enter the car when people with disabilities are seated from JUU to the car.
