CTOnews.com, October 23 (Xinhua) according to Tesla's FORM 10Muq filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the company's capital expenditure for the nine months ended September 30, 2023 was $6.59 billion, an increase of $1.29 billion over the same period last year.

Tesla said that capital expenditure is currently expected to exceed $9 billion in 2023 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 65.88 billion yuan), and capital expenditure in the next two fiscal years will be between $70 billion and 9 billion yuan (currently about 512.4-65.88 billion yuan).

According to Tesla's latest financial report, Tesla's revenue in the third quarter of 2023 was $23.4 billion, up slightly from $21.4 billion in the same period last year (up 9 per cent from a year earlier), but net profit fell sharply. It fell to $1.9 billion from nearly $3.3 billion in the same period last year, down 44 per cent from the same period last year.

Tesla's total car production in the third quarter was 430488, up 18 per cent from 365923 in the same period last year. Of this total, Model S / X produced 13688, down 31 per cent from 19935 in the same period last year, and 416800, up 20 per cent from 345988 in the same period last year.

Tesla's total vehicle delivery in the third quarter was 435059, up 27% from 343830 in the same period last year. Among them, Model S / X delivery was 15985, down 14% from 18672 in the same period last year to 419074, up 29% from 325158 in the same period last year.
