CTOnews.com, Oct. 24, despite the recent news that Apple's iPhone 15 series is not selling well in China, it seems to be gaining momentum in the United States. Last week, US telecom operator AT&T reported good smartphone sales and cash flow in the third quarter of 2023, with the launch of the iPhone 15 series playing an important role, and AT&T 's share price had its best week in more than a year.

John Stankey, chief executive of AT&T, told investors on Thursday that bookings for the iPhone 15 series were "the strongest in years", even though other operators offered better replacement activities. 'This proves that AT&T 's offer is simple and straightforward, its value proposition is consistent and stable, and the network quality is excellent,'he said.

Stankey also pointed out that the "vast majority" of users who bought iPhone 15 chose AT&T 's "maximum value package", even if it was not a requirement of the event.

Apple will report results for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2023 on November 2, covering the three months of July, August and September, which will reflect the early stages of bookings and sales of iPhone 15. Although Apple will not disclose the number of products sold, it will report revenue by product category. CTOnews.com noted that Apple posted an all-time high of $90.1 billion in revenue in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2022, although its iPhone revenue was $42.63 billion, below analysts' expectations. However, iPhone revenue is still up 9.8 per cent year-on-year.
