AI processing capacity is 14.7 times faster, Samsung Exynos 2400 chip NPU information exposure
CTOnews.com October 24, Samsung officially announced the Exynos 2400 processor at the System LSI Technology Day held in San Jose, California, on October 5 this year, saying that CPU performance is 70% faster than Exynos 2200 and 14.7 times faster than Exynos 2200.
Foreign technology media Android Headlines recently shared more details of the Exynos 2400 processor NPU chip.
The report said that Samsung has greatly optimized the support of NPU chips for nonlinear computing, and through optimization measures such as architecture adjustment, Exynos 2400 has improved three times more than the previous generation solution in the MobileBERT benchmark test.
CTOnews.com note: the MobileBERT benchmark mainly uses a set of natural language processing (NLP) tasks to evaluate the artificial intelligence performance of mobile devices.
Samsung Exynos 2400 processor is expected to adopt 1 "2" 3 "4 architecture, which mainly includes:
1 Cortex-X4 kernel, running at 3.1GHz
2 Cortex-A720 cores running at 2.9GHz
3 Cortex-A720 cores running at 2.6GHz frequency
4 Cortex-A520 cores running at 1.8GHz
